BitChild was created based on Primaldandelion's frequent use of the phrase "FOR THE CHILD" on the Discord and in Twitch Chat. This phrase caught on and became a channel meme, eventually moving Trevor Gomes to turn it into an emote.

No one knows exactly who "The Child" in question is, though the most popular theory, supported by Trevor Gomes himself, is that it refers to Timmy.
