Sweater Trevor (2017-2019) was a recurring character in the "mini Trevors" alert series until his untimely demise. Known for his iconic green sweater and positive demeanor, he would often make appearances playing small hand percussion instruments and grinning wholesomely.

Chroma Key Controversy

In his first appearance in the wildly popular $23.45 alert (aka Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up), it was observed that Sweater Trevor's sweater was translucent, which many posited was evidence of poor chroma key editing, as the bulk of his sweater is green, the color most commonly used in "green screen technology." This suggestion, however, was found to be unfounded (citation needed) and the much more reasonable conclusion was reached that Sweater Trevor's sweater is actually made from inter-dimensional moon fabric, a creation of the notorious Hotdog in Space for purposes of teleportation.

Death

The tribute to Sweater Trevor at the end of the $45.67 alert

On Nov. 2, 2019, Sweater Trevor met his demise in the opening scene of the long-awaited $45.67 alert when he was crushed by the descending Hotdog in Space. He was subsequently honored at the end of the alert with a heartfelt tribute.

Rebirth

It has been posited that with every additional play of the $45.67 alert, Sweater Trevor is reborn once more, only to die once more. This is yet to be proven, largely because it would require the subversion of several laws of physics.

acirfA and the Theory of Infinite Sweater Trevors

With the addition of "Backwards Africa" $543.21 Alert, it was further postulated that whenever the alert plays in this form, Sweater Trevor escapes the clutches of death and is not only reborn, but manages to escape from his permanent cycle of death/rebirth and achieves immortality. Between the two forms of the Africa alert and their many repetitions, this would suggest that there are in fact an infinite number of Sweater Trevors, both those caught in the permanent cycle of death/rebirth and those escaping the cycle and becoming immortal. This would further support the theories held within the Prof Dies Timeline and likely would be the primary catalyst in the fomentation of the Bitfinity Wars.
